KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): The Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 38 new Covid-19 cases as of noon today, bringing the country's tally to 5,780. This is the second time the daily figure dropped below 40 cases in one week.
The number of active Covid-19 cases have declined for two consecutive weeks to 1,820 — the lowest level since March 27.
The daily recovery figure was at 100 today compared with 99 yesterday, more than double of the new infections of 38. The country's total cured cases climbed to 3,862, representing a recovery rate of 66.6%.
There was no death reported today. The country's death toll from the coronavirus stands at 98 currently.
