KUALA LUMPUR (April 5): Infomina Bhd has been appointed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) to provide a platform for the public to search, extract and purchase data on companies and businesses registered with SSM.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Infomina said the appointment is for six years, from March 31, 2023 to March 30, 2029. It did not disclose any value for the job.

Instead, Infomina said it would charge a service fee, which will be based on the actual consumption of the platform.

Hence, the appointment is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over the period.

Shares in Infomina closed unchanged at RM1.66, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM998 million.

The share price has grown more than four times, compared to its initial offering price of 40 sen.

Infomina's listing in November last year raised approximately RM32.47 million

Infomina specialises in the design and implementation of technology application and infrastructure solutions that support the fundamental business operations of large private and public enterprises. The group further supports its clients through customised operations, maintenance and support services.
