KUALA LUMPUR (March 14): Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query on BSL Corp Bhd over the recent sharp drop in its share price and trading volume.

On Monday (March 13), BSL shares closed lower at six sen each, after the stock ended at 14 sen last Friday, with some 1.60 million shares done.

In Tuesday’s filing, Bursa asked the group whether there was any corporate development relating to its business and affairs, rumour, report or any other possible explanation that could have caused the UMA.

As at the time of writing, BSL had not responded to Bursa's UMA query, and lost 25% or 1.5 sen to 4.5 sen, with 46.19 million shares traded.
