KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 11): KKB Engineering Bhd has received two contracts worth RM351.7 million, consisting of an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract and a steel pipe purchase order.

In a bourse filing on Wednesday (Jan 11), KKB said that its subsidiary OceanMight Sdn Bhd had received a letter of award from Sarawak Shell Bhd (SSB), with limited notice to proceed for the provision of EPC of standard wellhead platforms for the MLNG FaS (F27, F22 and Selasih) gas field development.

Meanwhile, it said that its subsidiary company KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd had also received a purchase order from Seri Ghanimi Contractor Sdn Bhd (SGC) for the supply of mild steel concrete lined pipes.

It said the estimated combined total contract sum for the contract and order is about RM351.7 million.

The SSB contract is effective from December 2022 until completion of work, whereas the completion period for SGC is scheduled to be nine months.

KKB said the projects are expected to contribute positively towards its earnings for the duration of the contract and order.
