KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): WZ Satu Bhd has bagged an RM16.5 million contract from AsPac Lubricants (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a member of oil and gas BP Group, for the installation works at AsPac’s lubricant blending plant in Port Klang.

The contract, awarded to WZ Satu’s subsidiary WZS Misi Setia Sdn Bhd, covers mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installation works and also the supply of partial materials, construction and commissioning of the upgrading system, the group said in a filing today.

The duration of the contract is eight months commencing from Oct 1.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31 2020 and Dec 31, 2021,” said WZ Satu.

Shares of WZ Satu, which has declined some 17% year to date, rose 0.5 sen or 2.7% to close at 19 sen today. The group has a market capitalisation of RM97.22 million.
