KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 11): Wintoni Group Bhd, whose winding up order was terminated recently, has been appointed an exclusive distributor for Ruizhi Plastic Sdn Bhd’s industrial chemical products in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and China.  

Ruizi Plastic is involved in the wholesale of metal and non-metal waste and scrap for recycling, and the export and import of plastic in primary forms.  

“The appointment is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years during the tenure of the appointment,” Wintoni said in a filing today.  

Upon the upliftment of its liquidation, the Practice Note 17 company had on Oct 4 applied to Bursa Malaysia for extending the time to submit a regularisation plan up to Dec 31, 2019. 

It also applied for extention of time to complete the backlog of the audited accounts and quarterly results by Dec 31, 2019. 

Meanwhile, the company said the liquidators have yet to surrender the books and records back to the company, to-date.
