KUALA LUMPUR (April 29): Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) said it is no longer a shareholder of troubled energy services group Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd.

"KWAP has relinquished its entire stake in Serba Dinamik and is no longer a shareholder," the pension fund said in a statement on Friday (April 29).

It was responding to an article published by The Edge on Thursday entitled “SC executive chairman tenders resignation six months after three-year extension”.

According to bourse filings, KWAP had ceased to be a substantial shareholder of Serba Dinamik on June 1 last year after disposing of 26.03 million shares in the company in the open market. Prior to the disposal, it held 195.04 million shares or a 5.257% stake as at April 27, 2021.

Trading in Serba Dinamik's securities on Bursa Malaysia has been suspended since Oct 22 last year. The shares were last traded at 35 sen apiece.
