(Oct 26): Umno minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan has slammed Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail over her debate on Budget 2016, saying that the opposition leader was complaining a lot but failed to offer any credible ideas.

In a series of tweets today, the urban wellbeing, housing and local government minister said that Dr Wan Azizah has accused the government's financial plan as being in a deficit, but on the same note, criticised Putrajaya of not spending more on programmes for the people.

He tweeted: "WAzizah (Wan Azizah) should give us glimpses of her economic plan for Malaysia in her budget speech. She must not spend her entire speech to criticise."

He said it was important to know the programmes for which Dr Wan Azizah wants to cut the funding.

"Budget has limited fund. What WA should do in her budget speech is tell us which programmes she plans to cut to finance her proposed programmes," he said in one of the tweets.

"Opposition leader asks when will the BN budget not in the deficit? For her info, her coalition's alternative budget also in deficit."

He also challenged the opposition, which accused the government of being racist, to show which of its policies were against the Constitution in another tweet: "Oppo accuses Govt which has multiracial cabinet of being racist. Talk is cheap. Show us which Govt policy is racist & against constitution?"
