KUALA LUMPUR: Time Dotcom Bhd's (TdCom) wholly-owned unit, AIMS Cyberjaya Sdn Bhd, has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Cyberview Sdn Bhd and Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd to acquire a parcel of land in Sepang.

"The purchase of land will provide AIMS with the ability to build a new data centre in an area where there is growth potential for data centres," said TdCom in a Bursa Malaysia filing this evening.

The vacant plot measures 12,684 square metres and the purchase price is RM15 million.

The proposed purchase will be fully funded from TdCom's internally generated funds, and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2015.

AIMS is in the business of providing value added network services, information services, system integration services, operations of data networks and network based applications for corporations.

TdCom closed one sen higher at RM5.01, with a market capitalisation of RM2.9 billion.
