<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>This is because the group is still waiting for the initial operation date (IOD) from the relevant authorities, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Tex Cycle had received the greenlight from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority Malaysia (SEDA) to build and operate the power plant, which will have a capacity to supply two megawatt per hour of electricity to Tenaga Nasional Bhd.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In August 2016, the group announced that it has received approval for the commencement of the feed-in tariff.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The IOD was initially set for Dec 7, 2017, with the commencement of the feed-in tariff on Jan 28, 2018. Subsequently the IOD was pushed to Dec 7, 2018, and the commencement of the feed-in tariff to Jan 21, 2019.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in Tex Cycle were last traded at 54 sen apiece – giving the group a market capitalisation of RM138.34 million.</p></div>
