<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The privatisation contract to manage the operations and maintenance of the water supply system in Langkawi commenced on Oct 7, 1995.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“Upon expiration of the privatisation contract, we have handed the operations to a corporatised body under the State Government of Kedah, Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn Bhd,” it said in an announcement at Bursa Malaysia.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Taliworks had operated and maintained Langkawi's entire water supply and distribution facilities since 1995.&nbsp;</p></div>
