SINGAPORE (Feb 9): Aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) players such as Singapore Technologies Engineering’s subsidiary ST Aerospace and SIA Engineering Co are expected to see less MRO work ahead.

This comes as carriers are buying newer planes to improve their yields and demand for narrow-body, single-aisle aircraft is booming, thanks in part to a proliferation of low-cost carriers.
