KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 22): Ageson Bhd independent director Tajul Arifin Mohd Tahir has been appointed as non-executive chairman of the construction and property development group effectively immediately, replacing Datuk Baharon Talib who is stepping down after two years.

In a bourse filing on Tuesday (Feb 22), Ageson cited pursuing other interests as the reason for Baharon's resignation.

He started his career as an assistant district officer, state secretariat office, and also at the ministry level with the federal government. Baharon's last post was as state immigration director of Sabah.
