HIL Industries Bhd (+ve)

SHARES for HIL (Fundamental: 2.25/3, Valuation: 1.2/3) rose as high as 98.5 sen after announcing strong results last Thursday. It gave back some gains yesterday, closing at 93 sen. 

For 4Q2014, sales rose 79.3% y-o-y to RM42.5 million while pre-tax profit jumped a whopping 251.6% to RM10.2 million. For the full year, pre-tax profit increased 382.4% to RM26.6 million on the back of 67.1% jump in sales to RM136.4 million, from both manufacturing and property development segments.

HIL manufactures and sell industrial and domestic moulded plastic products with operations in Malaysia and Suzhou, China. The company also undertake some small-scale property development projects in Shah Alam. It plans to develop a 5-acre land in Shah Alam with a GDV of RM80 million this year.

The company has net cash of RM107.14 million (38.7 sen per share). Nevertheless, it only paid 1.5 sen per share dividend in 2013, giving net yield of 1.5%.
