Suiwah Corporation Bhd (-ve)
Suiwah (Fundamental: 1.8/3, Valuation: 2/3) operates departmental stores and hypermarkets in Penang, namely Sunshine Farlim Shopping Mall, Sunshine Square and Sunshine Bertam Shopping Mall. Its shares surged 17.5% since last Monday, closing at RM3.15 yesterday.

The company’s revenue peaked at RM422.3 million in FYMay2011, but subsequently stayed flattish at around RM380 million between FY2012 and FY2014, while net profit ranged between RM7.6–17.8 million. For 9MFY2015, net profit decreased 14.8% to RM10.0 million, due to reversal of overprovision of taxation.

Suiwah is also developing its Sunshine Tower project on a 9-acre land in Farlim, Penang, which comprises of shopping mall, hotel, serviced apartments and business suites.

Suiwah has net cash of 76 sen per share as end-February 2015, or 24.1% its current share price. Since 2008, the company has been consistently paying dividends of 6 sen per share, with a yield of 1.9%.  The stock trades at a trailing 12-month P/E of 10.5 times, and 0.9 times book.
