PARAMOUNT Corp Bhd (fundamental: 0.8/3, valuation: 3/3) also made it into our Stocks with Momentum list yesterday for the second time this year.
The stock closed 2.86% or four sen lower at RM1.36 after some 2.3 million shares were traded, over four times its 200-day average trading volume of 506,612 shares.
For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2019 (FY19), Paramount announced a net profit of RM104.05 million, up 13.33% from the RM91.81 million it achieved a year earlier, as revenue grew 11.62% to RM705.97 million from RM632.49 million.
It also proposed a final dividend of 4.5 sen per share for FY19. It previously declared a special dividend of 29 sen per share for FY20, to be paid on April 23.
