SHARES of Ann Joo Resources Bhd (fundamental:0/3; valuation: 1.2/3) triggered our momentum algorithm again yesterday, the sixth time since mid-March this year. The counter rose 3.5 sen or 3.85% to close at 94.5 sen, with 1.59 million shares traded.

The stock has risen 50% in just a little over a month, from when it was trading at 63 sen on March 1.

For its fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 (4QFY15), Ann Joo saw its net loss widen to RM47.67 million as compared to a net loss of RM7.58 million in 4QFY14, while revenue dropped by 15.79% to RM413.54 million from RM491.09 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

For FY15, it plunged into the red with a net loss of RM135.48 million compared to a net profit of RM23.39 million in FY14; revenue shrunk 23.14% to RM1.76 billion from RM2.29 billion. At its current share price, Ann Joo is trading at 0.51 times its book value.
