KUALA LUMPUR (July 8): Solar service provider Fabulous Sunview has inked a strategic business alliance partnership with EK Hitec Corporation to provide a total green rooftop solution that specifically caters for all industrial roofing, including for the chemical, fertiliser and glove industries and such.

In a recent statement, Fabulous Sunview said the collaboration is part of its foray into the integrated green energy market in Malaysia as it focuses on its turnkey engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning solution services.

Under the alliance, the combined expertise unites the best-in-class roofing integrated with the photovoltaic (PV) solar solution system.

Fabulous Sunview said the deal will strengthen its product offerings and market access for both companies to offer convenience and worry-free options in the market.

It said the green rooftop solution provides significant benefits, including environmental compliance, increase the lifespan of the roof and lower energy bills when used on building rooftops.

Fabulous Sunview chief executive officer Ong Hang Ping said the integrated green solution is a great adoption of industrial building rooftop systems and is a perfect match with the company's PV system.

“With the right technology, it can deliver a better return on investment and save money in the long run over traditional roofing systems.

“We are confident that by joining forces with leading industry leaders, it will put us in a good position for being [among] the industry’s leading innovators by providing a one-stop clean energy solution in Malaysia,” he said.

Ong said the company is committed to accelerating the renewable energy industry to help more companies achieve sustainability through its green innovation.

According to him, in addition of being an active player in the solar energy sector, Fabulous Sunview also has the expertise to provide diversity in its energy mix as Malaysia targets installation of renewable energy capacity of 18,000MW by 2035.
