Seacera falls on potential trading suspension after failing to submit quarterly report

KUALA LUMPUR (June 7): Seacera Group Bhd shares fell as much as 2.5 sen or 11% today to 19.5 sen following an announcement on Bursa Malaysia's website that the tile manufacturer failed to submit its quarterly report for the financial period ended March 31, 2019 to the bourse regulator by the May 31 deadline.

The announcement on Tuesday (June 4) indicated that if Seacera does not submit the report by June 11, trading in the company's securities will be suspended with effect from 9am on Wednesday (June 12) until further notice.

Today, Seacera shares pared losses at 20 sen at 10:55am. The counter saw some five million shares exchanging hands.
