KUALA LUMPUR (July 5): Sanichi Technology Bhd’s founder and managing director Dauk Seri Dr Pang Chow Huat has raised his stakeholding in the company to 12.74%, after acquiring 15.8 million shares in the company for 13 sen per share.

According to a filling in Bursa Malaysia, the 7 million shares were acquired vide off-market transactions, while another 8.8 million shares were done in open market.

Sanichi rose one sen or 6.25% today, to one-month high of 17 sen. The counter saw 22.45 million shares traded, for a market capitalisation of RM181.23 million.

Year-to-date, the counter has declined 44.26%.
