PUTRAJAYA (June 5): Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, has given her “utmost cooperation” to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) after three hours of questioning by the agency at its headquarters here today, according to her lawyers.

“Overall, the three-hour process went well. Our client will extend further cooperation as and when sought after by the agency,” said Datuk K Kumaraendran, speaking for himself and for Geethan Ram Vincent.

Rosmah had been treated well by the investigating officers, Kumaraendran said.

Both lawyers did not entertain any questions from reporters.

Rosmah, who arrived for the 11am scheduled session with the MACC, is assisting in investigations related to SRC International Sdn Bhd, formerly a unit of scandal-ridden strategic investment fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd. She left the building at 3.43pm.

Smiling during her exit, she spoke briefly to her lawyers, as she entered a silver S-class Mercedes before leaving the premise. She did not speak to reporters.

SRC International has been placed under the Finance Ministry since 2012.
