KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 20): RichWorks International Sdn Bhd has launched the Bina Bisnes Berjaya Seminar, a pioneering platform to equip entrepreneurs with knowledge, training and consultation to weather the impact of Covid-19 and at the same time build successful businesses during the movement control order (MCO).

The platform was officially launched today by RichWorks, the largest event and seminar organiser in the country in the field of entrepreneurial development and marketing.

The one-day virtual, immersive online seminar is offered at no charge every weekend until the end of March.

Since its first session on Feb 6, a total of 65,000 participants from Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei have been following the Bina Bisnes Berjaya Seminar. RichWorks hopes to train and consult more than 1.8 million entrepreneurs in 2021.

At the launching ceremony via Zoom today, special guest and mentor Datuk Wira Dr Azizan Osman, who recorded a sales value of RM2 billion through his many businesses, shared tips and tricks with budding entrepreneurs on how to make their businesses more profitable in these trying times.

RichWorks said the next session of the free seminar on Feb 26 to 28 is titled “Bina Bisnes Berjaya — Your First Million Summit”.

Additionally, RichWorks will also be sponsoring a total of RM250,000 for 10 aspiring entrepreneurs for the Richworks Mentoring Program, an intensive business mentoring programme.

Applicants are required to write in their business ambition and selected applicants will be called for an interview session, after which the 10 best applicants will be chosen.

Speaking at the launch, RichWorks assistant senior vice-president Radz Mohd said the seminar is held to help those affected by Coivd-19, irrespective of whether they are entrepreneurs or not.

“This is like a lifeline for those who have been severely affected by the pandemic,” he said.

“The launch ceremony is a testament to how RichWorks believes in the importance to inspire, educate and add value to the community and continue supporting entrepreneurs to emerge from the impact of Covid-19 and the MCO.

“Doing business in this day and age is indeed challenging with the volatile economic environment and major economic indicators painting a bleak picture. Nonetheless, through the Bina Bisnes Berjaya Seminar, our main objective is to cultivate the spirit of entrepreneurship and promote business capability,” said Radz.

“We have many free seminars and courses because we want to spread the word and reach out to those who need help with their business or even want tips to start their own businesses,” he said.

The weekly seminar features an array of successful business TITANS who were mentored and cultivated through RichWorks’ seminars and mentorship, such as Sabella and Mamasab.

A total of 30 millionaire TITANS will share their professional journey to inspire and guide the participants; they will also share the highs and lows of their journey in entrepreneurship.
