KUALA LUMPUR (March 15): Shares in payment solutions provider Revenue Group Bhd rose 5% in active trade at morning today after the firm said it had fulfilled the conditions for a money lending licence, as confirmed by the the Housing and Local Government Ministry in a letter to the group’s wholly-owned unit Revenue Harvest Sdn Bhd.

At 10.55am, Revenue rose 6 sen to RM1.26 with 3.58 million shares traded.

The licence to operate as a money lender under the Moneylenders Act 1951 will be issued upon payment of the licence fee within 30 days.
