KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 3): Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH) has appointed Peter Hong as its group chief executive officer (CEO) effective Jan 1, 2022.
In a statement on Monday (Jan 3), RSDH said Hong had been the acting group CEO since September 2021.
He joined Sime Darby Bhd’s Healthcare Division in January 2019.
RSDH said together with joint-venture partner Ramsay Health Care, Hong had been pivotal in overseeing the RSDH group’s progress during the Covid-19 pandemic to drive business growth and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Sime Darby, Hong was the group operations director at Siloam Hospitals Group and, previously, the finance and operations head at Fresenius Medical Care.
RSDH comprises Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Ara Damansara Medical Centre and ParkCity Medical Centre in Malaysia.
It recently acquired Manipal Hospitals Klang, now known as Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre.
