Platinum Victory Sdn Bhd has achieved a 100% take-up rate for its mixed-use development Platinum Teratai in Jalan Langkawi, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. It was officially launched in January.

“The development is designed and developed to provide quality living in a strategic location, with easy accessibility to highways, shopping malls, schools and colleges. It draws together the many strands of placemaking, environmental stewardship, social equity and economic viability into the creation of places with distinct beauty and identity,” says group executive director Gan Yee Hin.

Occupying a 2.94-acre freehold parcel, the project has a gross development value of RM360 million. Completed in June, the 29-storey Platinum Teratai comprises 800 condominium units and eight retail lots on two levels.

Priced from RM423,800, the 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom units have built-ups of 928 sq ft each. “Some partially furnished units are fitted with wardrobes, lighting, ceiling fans, refrigerators and air conditioners. We furnished the main areas such as the kitchen, living and dining area, master bedroom and guest room,” says Gan.

The target market are mainly young families, first-time homebuyers and those who intend to move in immediately. “We aim to create a new market segment targeting different customer groups. The development will enhance and uplift the decades-old bustling neighbourhood,” he adds.

In terms of parking, there are 1,425 bays for residents and 80 for visitors. The maintenance fee, including the sinking fund, is 25 sen psf per month.

Among the facilities are a gymnasium, café, kindergarten, audiovisual room, multipurpose hall and swimming pool.

Platinum Teratai is accessible via the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Jalan Langkawi, Jalan Cengal, Jalan Gombak and Jalan Genting Kelang.

The development is in the vicinity of Setapak Central mall, Wangsa Walk Mall, Columbia Asia Hospital, SJK(C) Wangsa Maju, SMK Taman Melati, Sri Utama International School and Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.
