Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) hopes to see RM60 million in sales from its PKNS Property Exhibition Series 2/2019, which was held from July 26 to Aug 4.

The 10-day exhibition — held in conjunction with the developer’s 55th anniversary on Aug 1 — features more than 50 commercial and residential projects by PKNS and its subsidiaries in Selangor.

“We are confident in achieving the sales target given the many attractive discounts offered and the success of Series 1/2019 property exhibition in March, which made RM10 million in sales,” said PKNS CEO Datuk Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain in a July 27 press release.

“PKNS is offering a special additional discount of RM5,500 to 55 early-birds, as an anniversary special. In addition, visitors  to the exhibition will enjoy savings and rebates of up to RM100,000,” he added.

“There will be great deals, including discounts of up to 20% for properties in the collection. PKNS will absorb the legal fees for sales and purchase agreements and stamp duties for the Memorandum of Transfer (MOT) for purchases made during the exhibition.”

Meanwhile, PKNS has collaborated with Maybank to offer 100% financing for the Rumah Selangorku Idaman PKNS projects developed by PKNS and its subsidiaries under the Smart Selangor First Home Buyer Scheme.

“Maybank will provide 90% of financing to qualified purchasers while the Selangor state government will pay 10% at a special low interest rate for the first eight years,” said PKNS corporate communications manager Ishak Hashim.
