KUALA LUMPUR (May 8): Sewage treatment systems services provider PJBumi Bhd has been awarded a RM1.8 million contract for the design and construction of a sewerage treatment plant in Johor.

In a filing today, PJBumi (fundamental: 0.75; valuation: 0.9) said the contract, awarded by Johor Land Bhd, is for a period of 10 months, to be completed on March 10, 2016.

It said the contract will not have any material effect on its issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders, net asset per share and its gearing level.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board is of the opinion that the contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share and the future earnings of PJBumi group,” said the company.

PJBumi fell 0.5 sen or 1.3% to 39 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM19.75 million.
