KUALA LUMPUR (July 6): Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd emerged as Bursa Malaysia's top-turnover or most-liquid stock on Wednesday (July 6) after its share price slumped as much as 9% to its lowest in about seven months.

At the 12.30pm break, the stock had pared losses at RM8.46, with 5.27 million shares traded.

The counter earlier fell as much as 79 sen or 9% to RM8.33, the lowest in about seven months possibly since Nov 30, 2021, when it closed at RM8.50.
