KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): Pakatan Harapan (PH) is leading the 15th General Election (GE15), having won 18 Parliamentary seats as of 11.30pm on Saturday.

Among the seats the Election Commission (EC) confirmed that PH has officially won are Tanjong in Penang; Pandan in Selangor; as well as Kepong and Bukit Bintang in the Federal Territory.

The other Parliamentary seats PH won were in Johor, namely in Sekijang, Labis, Ledang, Bakri, Kluang and Johor Bahru as well as by its ally Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) in Muar, in addition to Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Sandakan in Sabah.

Perikatan Nasional (PN) has won 15 Parliamentary seats, including Pagoh which its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin retained.

Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), meanwhile, has won 15 seats, Barisan Nasional (BN) 13, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) two while Warisan and Parti Bangsa Malaysia won one each.

Meanwhile, the domination of UMNO veteran Tan Sri Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah in Gua Musang, Kelantan finally came to an end when he lost to Datuk Mohd Azizi Abu Naim (PAS) in a four-cornered fight by a narrow majority of 163 votes.
