<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 31): Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has added trading platform OctaFX to its Financial Consumer Alert list.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>In a statement on Monday (Aug 29), the central bank said the list consists of companies and websites which are neither authorised nor approved under the relevant laws and regulations administered by it.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>“Please take note that the list is not exhaustive, and only serves as a guide to members of the public based on information and queries received by BNM,” it said.</div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>The Financial Consumer Alert list includes OctaFX's website, as well as its official accounts on social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Telegram.</div>
