Acacia Residences in Salak Perdana, Sepang, saw a 35% take-up rate at its launch on Oct 12. It will be developed by NCT United Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCT Group.

“The development offers good value proposition for its price. The units will be partially furnished with kitchen cabinets and two air-conditioning units. Moreover, we will use 2ft by 2ft tiles and the ceiling will be 10ft high for better ventilation,” senior sales and marketing general manager James Chang tells City & Country via email.

The RM160 million project was launched by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin and NCT Group founder and managing director Datuk Seri Yap Ngan Choy, and witnessed by NCT Group executive director Datuk Joe Yap Fook Choy.

Occupying a 2.7-acre freehold parcel, Acacia Residences will comprise 478 serviced apartments in a 36-storey tower. Priced from RM295,000, each unit will have a built-up of 850 sq ft, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Facilities will include a swimming pool and deck, playground, launderette, nursery and multipurpose hall. Each unit will be allocated two parking bays.

Acacia Residences is part of NCT Group’s initiative to uplift the Salak Perdana township through the provision of affordable, innovative and sustainable developments to cater for market demand as well as the needs of the people.

“As an industry player in the property sector, we are honoured to have been entrusted with the task of reviving this township several years ago. In 2014, we successfully rebranded the area to Salak Perdana. Set amid greeneries and an array of facilities, Acacia Residences is an ideal living place to enjoy family life,” Ngan Choy said in a press release.

The township is surrounded by renowned educational institutions as well as leisure and recreational outlets, including shopping centres, resorts and golf courses.

It is a 15-minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and easily accessible via the North-South Expressway Central Link as well as the Express Rail Link.

NCT Group is a property developer, contractor and prominent player in the tourism industry. Its first luxury serviced apartment project was Ion Delemen@Genting Highlands. After the success of the development, the group commenced the operations of the five-star Grand Ion Delemen Hotel, nestled in the Titiwangsa Mountain Range, in 2017.

Currently, NCT Group is developing Grand Ion Majestic in Genting Highlands.
