KUALA LUMPUR (July 25): My E.G. Services Bhd’s chairman Datuk Norraesah Mohamad has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the company after disposing of a 23.25% indirect interest.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the e-government services provider said Norraesah disposed of 810.11 million shares or 23.25% today through Asia Internet Holdings Sdn Bhd.

According to the group’s 2018 annual report, Norraesah previously held a 30.46% stake consisting of 29.71% indirect interest in Asia Internet, and a direct interest of 0.75%.

She remains a shareholder with a direct interest of 0.75%.

Meanwhile, MyEG co-founder Wong Thean Soon also trimmed his indirect interest through Radio Port Limited, leaving him with a 23.25% stake, having previously held a 31.27% indirect stake according to the annual report. He also remains with a direct stake of 7.43%.

MyEG closed one sen or 0.6% lower today at RM1.65, with 14.47 million shares done, bringing it a market capitalisation of RM5.75 billion.
