<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“However, due Malaysia Airlines flight MH0002’s &nbsp;two hours and 30 minutes’ delay in taking off from Kuala Lumpur on the night of June 15, the appointment that was slated for the morning of June 16 could not proceed,” said the ministry in a statement.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Mindef said Mohamad’s stopover in London was specifically to meet the prime minister, while on his way to France for an official visit.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The inconvenience is greatly regretted and it is hoped that Malaysia Airlines does not repeat this in the future,” it said.</p></div>
