<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Metronic said its unit Metronic Engineering Sdn Bhd (MESB) has received and accepted a letter of acceptance from MRT Corp for the design and commissioning of underground works for the Sungai Buloh — Serdang — Putrajaya line.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>It said MESB is principally involved in providing system integration, specialising in the field of intelligent building management system and integrated security management system, e-project management of mechanical and electrical services and supply of engineering systems.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Metronic said the contract commenced in March 2018 and shall be completed by July 2021.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The group said the contract is expected to substantially contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2019 and onwards until the expiry of the contract.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Metronic added that the contract is deemed material as the value of this contract alone is more than 125% of the company's latest annual published consolidated revenue.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>As at 12.03pm today, Metronic jumped 10% or 0.5 sen to 5.5 sen with 56,000 shares traded.</p></div>
