KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 8): Malayan Banking Bhd's (Maybank) foreign shareholding had dropped to 16.75% as of Jan 29, 2021, according to the latest figures on the banking group's website.
This is lower than 16.87% just over a month ago on Dec 31, 2020.
In the past nine-year period, the group reported its highest foreign shareholding of 25.99% on May 24, 2013 while the lowest was on Jan 6, 2017 at 15.65%.
At the time of writing, Maybank shares were down 0.38% or three sen to RM7.83.
