<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"The adjournment was necessary due to a technical issue in respect of remote participation and voting facilities of the AGM on April 15, 2021,” Maybank said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>News reports quoted Tricor as saying then the inconvenience caused to its clients and business partners "is deeply regretted and all steps are being taken to ensure that all our forthcoming virtual AGMs proceed smoothly”.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At 10.28am today, Maybank’s share price was one sen or 0.12% higher at RM8.31, giving it a market value of about&nbsp;RM93.4 billion based on the group’s 11.24 billion issued shares.</p></div>
