KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): Malaysia's total palm oil inventory fell 5.31% to 2.25 million tonnes in August from 2.38 million tonnes in July, as exports of the commodity rose 16.37%, Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) data showed today.
MPOB said in a statement today August palm oil exports grew to 1.73 million tonnes from 1.49 million tonnes.
MPOB said the country's palm oil inventory comprises crude palm oil (CPO) and processed palm oil.
CPO production increased 4.64% to 1.82 million tonnes from 1.74 million tonnes, according to MPOB.
