KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 4): Shares in Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) fell as much as 4.23% or 36 sen today, after its largest shareholder, Khazanah Nasional Bhd, reportedly sold shares in the company at the bottom end of a marketed range.

Bloomberg reported earlier today that the sovereign wealth fund sold 58.07 million MAHB shares at RM8.20 apiece, representing a 3.8% discount to Tuesday's close of RM8.52.

The shares were offered at RM8.20 to RM8.52 apiece, Bloomberg reported, citing terms of the deal it obtained earlier.

At 3.13pm, MAHB shares pared some losses, but were still down 27 sen or 3.17% at RM8.25, after some 2.72 million shares were exchanged, giving it a market capitalisation of RM13.69 billion.

Based on MAHB's 2016 annual report, Khazanah held approximately 609.11 million shares in MAHB, representing 36.71% of its total issued shares.
