SINGAPORE (Jan 16): Lotte Chemical Titan has reduced operating rates at its Malaysian naphtha cracking complex to ~90% since last week due to weak product margins, according to people with knowledge of the developments.

Lotte Titan shut a 93k tons/year unit at the Pasir Gudang complex in the first week of January; complex’s total ethylene production capacity ~890k tons/year

** NOTE: Co. plans maintenance at 520k tons/year No. 2 cracker in early March
