KUALA LUMPUR (April 23): Key Alliance Bhd’s wholly-owned Progenet Innovations Sdn Bhd has inked a reseller agreement with Singapore firm Storm Front Pte Ltd, under which it will offer post-Movement Control Order business reboot solutions.

Progenet and Storm Front inked the agreement today, Key Alliance said in a stock exchange filing. The two parties previously entered into a Memorandum of Understanding on April 7 for the partnership.

Under the deal, Progenet is appointed as a non-exclusive seller of SF's products and solutions, such as process automation, business analytics, human capital management, COVID-19 capacity venue management and contactless thermo scan devices. The agreement is effective for two years, and is renewable for one year.

“The partnership with SF will see Progenet combine its secure cloud computing solutions and data storage to provide businesses a bundled package which will not only provide a more conducive and safer work environment, but will also be able to use Internet of Things/ Artificial Intelligence (IoT)/AI technology to track space management, crowd control and employees,” Key Alliance said.

The group sees this as a means of integrating its current solutions with a layer of COVID-19 management and post-MCO business deployment, all digitised and managed with cloud computing.

Key Alliance's shares closed 0.5 sen or 16.67% higher at 3.5 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM22.27 million, after 41.85 million shares were traded.
