KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): Kerjaya Prospek Property Bhd is buying a piece of land near its Bloomsvale mixed development project in Old Klang Road for RM15.13 million.

The group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Property Sdn Bhd is buying the freehold land from Span Holdings Sdn Bhd.

“The company intends to develop the land to complement its Bloomsvale project,” the group added in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Kerjaya Prospek said the acquisition will enable the group to focus on its core business of property development and to expand and strengthen its landbank size.

The acquisition, which is expected to be completed by January next year, will be funded by cash via internally generated funds and or bank borrowings, the group said.

Shares in Kerjaya Prospek closed unchanged at 60 sen, valuing the group at RM120.1 million. The counter saw 10,400 shares transacted.
