<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The market was closed for sanitisation and disinfection after three workers at the market tested positive for Covid-19 recently.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to news reports, 216 traders and workers at the market had been screened for Covid-19 after the cases were reported.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>A number of markets have been closed for sanitisation and disinfection recently&nbsp;— namely the Raja Bot market in&nbsp;Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, the Jalan Othman market in Petaling Jaya, and the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market in Selayang&nbsp;— after Covid-19 cases were found among traders at those markets.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The Ministry of Health (MoH) conducted Covid-19 tests on traders, workers and residents around these markets after cases emerged.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Pudu and Petaling Jaya’s Old Town&nbsp;were also put under a semi-enhanced movement control order (SEMCO) and an enhanced movement control order (EMCO) respectively after infections spiked in the areas.</p></div>
