<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with the bourse, HeiTech Padu said the contract is for a period of three years commencing Feb 1, 2021, to Jan 31, 2024. However, the contribution will only start in the next financial year ending Dec 31, 2022 (FY22).&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The company said the contract will not have any effect on its net assets for FY21 and that none of its directors or substantial shareholders or connected persons has any direct or indirect interest in the contract.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The board of directors is of the opinion that the execution of the contract is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interests of the company,” said HeiTech Padu.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>HeiTech&nbsp;Padu rose five sen or 3.3% to close at RM1.55 for a market capitalisation of RM156.9 million.</p></div>
