KUALA LUMPUR: Gopeng Bhd’s third largest substantial shareholder, Datuk Mohamad Hamdan Hazizi has sold his entire stake in the palm oil plantation company on Nov 27, 2014, said the company’s filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday. Gopeng announced that Mohamad Hamdan had disposed of over 18.36 million shares or his entire 10.24% stake in the company. However, the price of the sizable transaction was not disclosed.

Gopeng’s largest shareholder is still Datuk Mohd Salleh Hashim, the company’s executive chairman, holding 32.93% in the company. This is followed by Fortuna Gembira Enterprise Sdn Bhd with a 19.33% stake in Gopeng. Gopeng was featured as the stock with likelihood of corporate exercise by InsiderAsia on Oct 31.
