<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 15): Dialog Group Bhd has bagged an RM360 million contract from Petronas Gas Bhd for the Southern Transmission Improvement and Readiness (STAR) project in Johor.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The scope of work of the project involves the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a new booster compressor station with associated equipment and facilities at Mengkibol, Kluang,” the group said in a bourse filing.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The scope includes some modification scope for the existing compressors at the Segamat Compressor Station and modification to the existing facilities,” it added.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The oil and gas services provider said the project is expected to commence this month and be completed by the first quarter of 2024.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The group will be paid progressively throughout the contract period, it added.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Dialog said the project is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for its financial year ending June 30, 2022 onwards until the completion of the project.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares of Dialog closed unchanged at RM2.43, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM13.72 billion.</p></div>
