KUALA LUMPUR (May 18): CIMB Group Holdings Bhd’s foreign shareholding dropped to 20.4% as of April 2021 from 20.7% in the preceding month, according to the latest figures on the financial services provider's website.

CIMB's April 2021 foreign shareholding figure is the lowest on record based on the group’s data which dates back to as far as January 2010, when the group’s foreign shareholding stood at 42.1%.

Since January 2010, CIMB recorded its highest foreign shareholding level at 42.9% in June 2011, according to data on CIMB’s website.

Today on Bursa Malaysia, CIMB’s share price was unchanged at RM4.25 at 12:12 pm, giving the group a market capitalisation of about RM42.16 billion.

CIMB has 9.92 billion issued shares, according to its latest annual report.
