KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30): Bursa Malaysia has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to XOX Bhd about its recent share price fall and volume rise.

Last week, telecommunication firm XOX's shares closed at 62.5 sen on Monday (Nov 23) with 14.75 million units done. On Friday (Nov 27), the stock ended at 33.5 sen with 176.46 million shares transacted.

Today, XOX fell 2.5 sen or 7% at 11.18am to 31 sen for a market capitalisation of RM110.36 million. The second most-active stock on Bursa saw some 48 million shares changing hands.

"We draw your attention to the high trading activities and sharp fall in price of your company's shares recently," Bursa told XOX.

XOX had not responded to Bursa's UMA query at the time of writing.
