Tiger Beer unleashes a new beer called “Tiger White”, a wheat beer brewed with subtle spicy hints of clove, coriander and orange peel. It’s a beer that has come to fruition two years after the brand unveiled its innovative beverage “Tiger Radler”, a variant of the original beer that has the zesty flavour of natural lemon juice.

Tiger Beer was founded in 1932 in Singapore, a bold lager born and brewed in the heart of Asia through a tropical brewing process. The uniquely refreshing and full-bodied flavour of the drink is enjoyed in more than 70 countries around the world. The brand received its first award in 1939, and today boasts over 50 international awards in its inventory. Tiger Beer has become arguably the most iconic symbol of alcohol hailing from this region, given its steadfast position as one of the most popular Asian-brewed beers in the world.

Speaking at the launch to members of the media, Guinness Anchor Bhd managing director Hans Essaadi said: “In 2013, we reinterpreted a popular European-style drink with Tiger Radler, which has proven to be a popular choice that appeals to both beer and non-beer drinkers alike. Following the success of this variant, the time has come for us to provide our consumers with a new refreshing option, an option we’ve identified resonates well with them — wheat beer. Right now this drink of choice is mostly imported, making it an ideal market for us to tap into, and by brewing it locally, we refresh this wheat beer category as we increase its reach.”

The all-new cloudy, wheaty Tiger White with an alcohol by volume of 5% is now making its way to various bars and stores across the country. For more information on Tiger White, visit www.tigerbeer.com.my.
