KUALA LUMPUR (March 7): Due to a restructuring of their current portfolio, Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng has resigned as the auditors of Kumpulan Powernet Bhd (KPB).

In a stock exchange filing today, KPB said it had received a notice today dated March 1, 2019 that Baker Tilly intended to resign. 

“The end of Baker Tilly’s term of office shall be 21 days from March 1. Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company,” it added. 

Kumpulan Powernet closed unchanged at 40 sen today, valuing the group at RM30.46 million.
