<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR: The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Axiata Group Bhd subsidiary Celcom Axiata and MyEG Services Bhd in exploring opportunities of e-government services delivery and new target market segments has been called off.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Axiata said the MoU has been terminated as it has transited into a business arrangement, such as the appointment of MyEG on Jan 22 as Celcom’s direct channel partner to promote, market and distribute products and services to end users.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“As such, the MoU would therefore no longer subsist,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The MoU was to jointly explore possible business opportunities and collaboration in the areas of e-government services delivery and joint go-to-market for specific target market segments.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Axiata’s share price fell four sen yesterday to RM5.36, while MyEG’s also dropped four sen to RM1.91.</p></div>
